Notary Pro - 3-Strike Policy
|
|
|
Strike system
In an effort to use only the highest quality signing agents in our database, NotaryPro
has devised a way that removes unqualified agents from our system. Our 3-strike
policy gives us the ability to grade the work that our mobile signing agents perform
for us. The 3-strike system, shown below, holds the notary public or attorney accountable
for every work assignment that they complete. NotaryPro
allows a signing agent
3 strikes before a final hold status is placed on their file. The following
documents are critical to funding the borrower's loan, any errors on the listed documents
below will be graded as follows:
| 1 Strike |
2 Strikes |
3 Strikes |
Missing signature(s) dates or stamp on:
- Deed of Trust or Mortgage
- Grant Deed or Deed of Conveyance
- Home Owners Certification
-
Finance Affidavit A.K.A. (signature affidavit)
- Notice of right to cancel

Removal of a strike
It is up to NotaryPro whether to allow future assignments after a final hold has been placed on a signing agent's file. On small infractions, a signing agent may be asked to fix their error at their own expense. On examination of the document, NotaryPro
has the discretion of removing the strike from the agent's file. If you wish to discuss the final hold status with NotaryPro,
you will need to contact us in writing. No phone discussions will be accepted.
Although we never wish to place a signing agent on final hold status, we are committed to providing our clients, borrowers, escrow companies, mortgage brokers and bankers the best signing agent service available. Thank you in advance for your understanding in this matter.
